This Bullétin was prepared by the Committee on Sedimentation of Reservoirs which was appointed at the 58th Executive Meeting in Sydney, Australia, in May 1990. The Terms of Reference were as follows :
-" Methods of minimizing deposition of incoming sediment in reservoirs ";
-" Assessment of long term impacts of reservoir sediment deposition on the downstream river ";
-"Evaluation of the economic impact of reservoir sedimentation and
alternatives to mitigate those impacts "
